Is Neuvago a treatment for a medical condition?
Neuvago is a general wellness device designed to support relaxation, sleep and everyday wellbeing. It is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition. If you have persistent or severe symptoms, speak with a qualified healthcare professional about appropriate care and whether Neuvago is suitable for you.
How do I get started with Neuvago?
Before your first session, read the User Manual and safety information, and fully charge the device.
Connect the earpiece cable to the port at the top of the device and turn it on. Start with clean, dry skin, then lightly moisten both conductive contacts with conductive gel or clean water. Position the earpiece comfortably in your left ear, following the placement instructions in the Quick Start Guide.
Press the M button to select Sleep, Relax, Meditation or Relief, then press Start/Pause to begin. Start at a low intensity and increase gradually until the stimulation feels noticeable but comfortable. You do not need the Neuvago app to use the device.
What should the stimulation feel like?
You may feel a light tingling sensation where the earpiece touches your ear. The stimulation should feel noticeable but comfortable and should not hurt.
Increase the intensity gradually rather than aiming for the highest setting. If the sensation becomes uncomfortable, reduce the intensity or pause the session. Stop using the device and consult a healthcare professional if you experience pain or skin irritation.
What should I do if I cannot feel the stimulation?
Check that the earpiece cable is securely connected, the device is switched on and you have pressed Start/Pause to begin the session.
Pause the session before checking the fit. Make sure both conductive contacts are lightly moistened with conductive gel or clean water and sit evenly against the skin in your left ear.
Restart at a low intensity and increase gradually. Do not keep increasing the intensity to compensate for poor contact. If you still cannot feel the stimulation after these checks, stop the session and contact support@neuvago.com for help.
How do I clean the earpiece?
Switch off the device before cleaning. After each use, gently wipe the earpiece and both conductive contacts with a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with clean water to remove gel residue.
Do not soak the earpiece, rinse it under running water or immerse it in liquid. Allow it to dry completely before storing it in the felt case. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
